Putting restrictions on email address

All,

Right now we have an email address which everyone in the company is in that group. Right now we are getting major spam being sent to that address.

What can I do to restrict it so that only senders from our domain can send
to this address?

Thanks!

Thanks that does help - looks like it will take a little bit to get configured!

OK I did some testing and want to make sure I do this correctly before implementing on the email address.

I created a test group called testmonitoring and put a few people in it. I sent a test message from the inside and outside with no problems.

Then I ran this command:

omdelaci -l testmonitoring -g default

I then sent a test message from the outside and it got kicked back saying not authorized. I then had a user not in the testmonitoring group send a message from the inside and it came through.

Is this all I need to do to the company wide email? Is there anything I am missing? I don't want to make this change to the company email and have there be problems,

Thanks!

A further question - thinking more about this - we decided not to change the acl's

Is there a way to delete the SMTP address? I tried through SAC, however it would only let me change it and not remove it completely.

Is there a command I can use to delete the SMTP address?

Thanks
