Scalix and Majordomo

I have some majordomo mailing lists I maintain, that I need to have work on the Scalix server. How do I arrange to have them available? I've added them to /etc/aliases, but if people try to send to them, they get the 550 spam list error.

Or is there a better way to maintain them under Scalix that will allow outside users (but only list members) to send to a list? A PDL? Can non-scalix users send to a PDL?

James

Never mind...

Figured out how to do it with PDLs. Can you restrict a PDL to only be accessable by the list members for sending (both local and Internet?)

Hi James,

It sounds like the mailing lists use a different domain than the primary domain on your Scalix server, is that correct? Otherwise, smtpd wouldn't think the message is being relayed and thus you shouldn't get the "Denied Due to Spam List" error. If that's the case, do have the "other" domain in your /etc/mail/local-host-names file? Let's start by looking at this, because I don't think you need to use Scalix PDLs to accomplish what you want to do.

Thanks,
Rachel
