We have a weird problem that couldn't solve yet! We have Scalix 11 running on SLES 10. Mailwasher spam filter also runs on the same machine for months. Yesterday, suddenly internet mails stopped coming and going. I've checked the Internet Mail Gateway queue from the SAC and all the outgoing mails were there waiting. After a lot of reading and trials, I've decided to stop and cancel the mailwasher. After that, the outgoing mail queue (internet) emptied and we started to receive incoming mails. BUT, the outgoing emails actually didn't go anywhere : When I check with "mailq" command, all the mails were there. So I think this is a sendmail problem. The /var/log/mail.err file is full of the following error message :
sendmail[12903]: l6VIjfL6012903: SYSERR(root): ldap_init/ldap_bind failed to localhost in map ldapsx: Unknown error 325
I've replaced the sendmail.cf file with previous backups, run "omsendin" and restart sendmail hundreds times but no change! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best regards.
