It is possible to archive every incoming and outgoing email (currently i do it with the archive=... option) and make them readonly accessible in a public folder???
Thx

Not sure if it will work, but you can try the following:
1) Assign an email address to the Public Folder
2) Set your BCC to this email address
3) Set the permissions on the Public Folder so the archiver can write to it (allow any external mail? Or maybe deliver to a UNIX mailbox and see who the sender is?) and everyone else read-only access

I know this is an old thread and I am sorry to bring this back to life, but wouldn't this solution only forward outgoing mail? I think the BCC option only copies outgoing mail not incoming - isn't this correct?
I have the same problem and I am trying to find a solution with fetchmail and the bcc option but I am a novice as far as fetchmail is concerned and I am not sure I have the correct syntax yet.

Actually I just tried the bcc feature again and it seems to copy incoming email as well as outgoing. I am sure I had tried this before unsuccessfully - oh well!
