After migrating from one server to another and having everything running fine yesterday, it seems today that no e-mail is being passed from the incoming server to Scalix.

I have already checked that the lines are in sendmail.

In the maillog it shows:

However nothing turns up in the users mailbox..

The current new server is Scalix 11.1.0

It also seems that e-mail even going out gets caught.

I had to delete the rule from sendmail.mc, restart sendmail & rerun omsendin.

If I have to edit sendmail.mc how come the lines in sendmail.cf were lost (even though running sendmail rebuilds sendmail.cf if .mc is edited - I assume that under .mc the line
MAILER(scalix)dnl
this should reinsert the comments in .cf?


(At the bottom of .mc at the moment:

MAILER(smtp)dnl
MAILER(procmail)dnl
dnl MAILER(cyrusv2)dnl

MAILER(scalix)dnl

I know you probably have things running the way you want now... but running omsendin is for non sendmail.mc users. Every time I run make in /etc/mail to recreate the sendmail.cf file, the scalix is already in the sendmail.cf. BUT I can make a change to sendmail.cf... and then omsendin works.... so my guess is omsendin will add scalix to sendmail.cf... the SAME WAY that adding MAILER(scalix)dnl does.

As above, recompiling the configuration should take care of things

Regarding the actual problem, however:

It sounds more like ldapmapper wasn't running, did you check that? I suspect that was the cause of the failed socket bind.
