Hi Manish!
You can use the commands sxmboxexp to take backup of a users mailbox from command
line. Check the man pages of this command for details.
Thanks,

Hi Manish!
Check what user name you get when you run the command "omshowu -m all | grep Manish"
use the same in the command.

Hi!
When you run the command omshowu -m all, you get a result for all users in the format as
below:
firstname lastname/mailnode/CN=commanname
So, when you run the command sxmboxexp -u <username> -a <filename> -F, instead of
<username> type the command as sxmboxexp -u "firstname lastname/mailnode" -a <filename> -F. See a demonstration below:
# omshowu -m all | grep Subir
Subir Sinha /subir-rhel4,scalix/CN=Subir Sinha
# sxmboxexp -u "Subir Sinha/subir-rhel4,scalix" -a testfile.test -F
# ll testfile.test
-rw-rw---- 1 root scalix 37460 Apr 11 18:03 testfile.test
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Subir

Hi Manish!
Restore using the command sxmboximp, to see what folders that have been saved in the
file use the command sxmboxlist. Try it as below:
To restore the data from the file to a user use sxmboximp using command similar to that
below:
Code: Select all
sxmboximp -u <username> -a <filename>
Hope this helps.

Hi Manish!
I would recommend you to have a look into the Scalix Administration Guide:
http://www.scalix.com/documents/Scalix_ ... 11.0.2.pdf
at page#88 to find a chapter on backup and recovery.
You can PM me on forum whenever you like.
Thanks,
Subir
