Proxy issues with scalix mail server

Hi

I have set up the Scalix server and everything is working fine, all migrations have gone very smooth and everything is working nice a fast!!!!

however; I have had one issue which I have been told is a bug in the system but I am using the Scalix email server on the same subnet as the proxy server, and because of this when you try to access the admin console it IE is unable to locate it, I have tried bypassing the proxy in the internet options section of settings but this has not worked and the issue seems to be intermittent.

If any one has any ideas please let me know.

Hi,

We have the same issue, though I am wondering if it is Apache specific, as I have the issue with two servers in the same subnet as the proxy machine (Clearswift), one of them is Scalix, one is a fault logging system.

What we may do is to allow connections from the upstream proxy in the LAN through to the Scalix/fault logger boxes, then put exceptions in that proxy.

We have found a simple fix,

login as SU

Type the following in the shell...............

PS -EF

LS

PRINT SCALIX.TXT 2400TTY TTY 12









Now get daley wear to check it !!
