Meetings not showing up until previewed

Hi All,
Having a problem with meeting invites.
When inviting somebody to a meeting, the meeting does not show up in their calendar until after they have viewed the invite. Should it not show up as 'tentative', or similar, before they accept the meeting? Otherwise it makes it far too easy to double-book people.

Are you using Outlook or SWA, if Outlook could you tell me what version of Outlook and
the Outlook Connector you use, if the Scalix Connector is 11.x, is the Outlook profile
SmartCache enabled?

I have asked these as I see a meeting item as soon as it is sent to invitees.

Using Outlook 2K3, server version 11.0.4, connector 11.0.4. No smartcaching enabled.
This appears to only be happening for one of the users invited to the meeting, though.
