Hi,
is it possible that public folders are indexed, too?
if this is true, how can i disable indexing for public folders?

The Scalix Search and Index Service provides realtime indexing of all private and public
folder messages. Built on the open-source Lucene technology, it enables mailbox-wide
message retrieval.

So if indexing is disabled it would be disabled for both private and public folders.

We've disabled the index for our users with ommodu.

You can disable indexing on per user basis only as per the Admin guide on page#149 at:
