Hi!

Old server could be restored from the contents of its message store, that is under the
folder /var/opt/scalix, take backup of this folder. While taking a backup of /var/opt/scalix,
make sure you preserve the ownership, order and permissions of the files.

The ideal method would be:
1. run omscan (omscan -Aavfx),
2. stop scalix server
3. take backup.

You might also use sxbackup for taking a backup of Scalix Server, the details of sxbackup
are available at:
http://www.scalix.com/wiki/index.php?ti ... h_sxbackup

Thanks,
Subir

Hi!

Postgres database is used for indexing, so you might not like to take the database backup.
