I am running Scalix 11.0.4.25 on RedHat ES4 for test purposes and it appears to have problems with the german umlauts (äöü) when the option SMTPFILTER=TRUE was turned on (no antivir or antispam milter enabled). Before the option was selected all emails had correct umlauts. The curious thing is, that the problem is charset independent. As example: Some emails with the charset ISO-8859-1 are ok, some have broken umlauts. Is there a known issue with the server version 11.0.4.25 or is there a specific option that I've to turn on to avoid the issue?
I forgot to say: I'm fetching the emails from an external POP3-server with fetchmail. The fetchmail process is runnig on the same server as the scalix process.
