Hello,
I have scalix 11community , local queue is 2000 + and processed mails are just 35 .Due to this mails are not getting delivered to users.
Please advice if there is a way to flush the queue.

want to make sure you have sendmail running on the machine
ps aux |grep sendmail
to flush the sendmail queue d a " sendmail -q"
With 200+ email in there it will take a bit of time to flush them out

Craig,
I am looking at SAC and see 2000 mails in Local delivery.
I checked sendmail and it is working.
When I run mailq I see 69 in queue.
I have run sendmail -q but is there anyway I can clear / flush local delivery faster.

Can you post the the results of
tail -n 25 /var/opt/scalix/??/s/logs/fatal
That should tell us why LD is crashing on you.
Thanks
Kev.

Sanjay,
i have seen this before, and it was due to one of the daemons...I cannot remember which one...maybe the LDAP daemon. I am guessing the local delivery is not aborting of stopping, its all just really slow?
Also, check the load on the server (although I suspect that is OK).
maybe the best option would be to stop and restart Scalix?

Does DNS has anything to do with the delivery delay.
Server references ISP's DNS server for MX query etc. I do not have a DNS on this server.

Kevin from Scalix support updated my server after I purchased support incident. That did not resolove the issue. I have sent several mails with no response from Support.
I still have the local delivery problem ( it stops ) or the delivery gets delayed for hours.
Can anyone help me.

To my knowledge you should not stop the LDAP Service, with our server it just aborted by itself (with no apparent reason) last Friday and no mails went out before I restarted it with omon again (luckily the mails were in sendmail queue and started to be delivered again).
Without exactly knowing what's going on in your server it's hard to comment, but still I think that since the support incidents are per case they should not be closed until your problem is fixed. But of course sometimes there could be other variables than Scalix too...
Did it use to work fine with you, how/when did the problem appear?

Kimmo,
This server had worked with no issues for about 5 weeks from the installation date then this issues started.
Let me know if you want to access the server to check .
