Hi all!

OS: CentOS4
Accounts: admrabbit (aka sxadmin), rabbit (user)

There are problems to authenticate user with imap/sac/webmail/....
Before 20 mins I could login to SAC and see all users and so.
I also see the mails with omlist...

Now after reinstalling some services SAC/Webmail dont work "503 Service unavailbale"...
and my imap problem is still alive...

On SAC it says something like The administration server don't response...

Any ideas?

After playing with Scalix...

The username or password is incorrect. Note that passwords are case sensitive. Try again.

after rename of /var/opt/scalix/s1/s/sys/password.cfg the error messages switched each other so with correct pw permission denied and with wrong bad password^^

@scalix freak: /var/opt/scalix/s1/s/sys/password.cfg what can i do with this file?

another interesting aspect is that he knows the default language of different users...

rabbit (my 'german' mailbox user) got german errors
admrabbit (my 'english' sxadmin) got english errors...

a test with omlist:

Hi!

Firstly, I would request you to perform a permission check on the data folder, check the
permissions for scalix files using the command "omcheck -s -d", to actually fix the
problem if any of permissions, you should run omcheck to generate a shell script
- on standard output - that, when run, fixes the problem for permission issues.

You might want to review what the script is planning to do before actually executing
the second command.

Please reply with what do you get result for the command:

Try logging into SAC with what you get next to "Authentication ID" in the above
command.

Also, try the steps mentioned at:
viewtopic.php?p=30358&highlight=#30358

See if these helps.

@permission checks: yes i had done both... -i / -s

I've tried the ldapsearch command with self-written password by hand and by command

With omldapsearch it works to....

I've compare my mailserver with another and found out that I missing a folder named "caa" in /etc/opt...
I created directorys and create also a psdata file with the password of sxqueryadmin

solved....

I exported all mailboxes with a quick&small script and imported it on a new RHEL5 VM with SX11... (omcpinu/omcpoutu)

Respect for Scalix 11...It's comes with very nice features and looks better....

But upgrading is so sooo soooooooo soooooooo terrible....
Only problems over problems... and now I can't see the following error anymore
