Service scalix start /restart not working

Dear scalix
Redhat AS4 update3
Scalixv11.0.3
service scalix start / restart not wotking
/etc/init.d/scalix start / restart not working
omrc is OK
i can run it but it just don't do anything.
What can i check to solve this problem?
