Server Cache??? Feeds what??

Postby christophersmith » Mon Apr 23, 2007 7:04 pm

Does anyone know if SWA and Outlook with Scalix Connector get its smart cache from? Different places or same place?

SWA accesses the data store directly.

Outlook with smart cache enabled downloads the messages into a local database (on the machine where outlook is installed) and then only send/receives updates.

On the server you can prebuild some sort of cache for the initial population of this outlook smart cache.
