How to Create a Public Calendar??

Can someone point me in the right direction to create a public calendar that the world can see but only a certain group of users can update. It seems obvious that it has to be done at the CLI (WTF??) but I can't find any useful documentation on how do it.

Assuming this is even possible, of course.

I also see mention of creating a resource instead of a calendar, but that doesn't seem to be what I want as the manual describes resources as things like conference rooms and projectors.

Thanks!

You can create it in Outlook. Just create a new folder of type Calendar under the Public Folders folder. Then right-click on it and create the permissions you want.

You can make a calendar as a resource if you want to deal with the tracking of items.

Really? That's what we thought originally, but it seems that the public folders created in Outlook don't work quite right.

I'm not the Outlook user so I don't know exactly what does work, but if that's the approved way then I'll have to get more info on that.
