Question before buying Scalix

Hello,

We're a french company with about 60 working people. We're planning to buy and deploy Scalix on our environement.
We have an Active Directory based user management and we plan to reach the 100 users by two years.

Before buying Scalix, our question is whether buy a Small business edition with an extra 25 premium users pack or buy an Entreprise edition with a direct good amount of premium users ?

As you've more experience with your customers, we'd like to have your expert word to enlighten our decision.

Also, do you have any reseller in France or can't we buy directly from you please ?

Hi Alexys,

apologies for the delay in response.

Question of "Edition" really comes down to whether you'd want to run Scalix in a multi-server environment going forward. That's the primary difference between the two versions http://www.scalix.com/enterprise/editions/compare.php and, clearly, there is a cost advantage from going with the SBE version as the initial entry price for the 50 Premium users is lower and the 1st year software subscription is included in the initial price.

We're trying to confirm channel partners within France right now. We can work with you directly although preference would be to use our German distributor (LxPN) who can readily process your orders etc.
