Not seeing all users in SAC

I had issues with the SAC for a while and started adding users using omaddu and modifying with ommodent.

I have fixed the issues with SAC but I only see the users that were in the SAC before the problems, I don't see any of the users added via command line.

Now I need to change a users password and forward their mail to another user. (Fired)

Changing password no problem, did that with ommodu. Need SAC to see all users (preferably) or command to forward all mail to another user.

Thanks

How many users do you see in SAC? There is a limitation under SAC for the number of users it'll show but it can be increased.

Did you try doing a "man ommodent" and "man omaddu"? I would bet there is a switch that says "show in system address book". Give that a shot. I haven't done much with the CLI yet.

have you changed your hostname recently?

Florian.

Nope nothing has changed.

I had to re-install the SAC, and once I was able to get into the SAC none of the users I added via CLI were there.

can you still post the output of

omsearch -e s=<lastname> -m @all-attr@

(where lastname is the last name of one of the missing users)

and

hostname --fqdn
hostname
hostname -s

and

cat /etc/opt/scalix/instance.cfg

cheers,
Florian.

etc/opt/scalix/instance.cfg isn't there, having trouble finding it.

You need to have instance.cfg file. If it's missing try to create it with the following info in it:

OMNAME="your server hostname"
OMHOSTNAME="your server DNS name"
OMDATADIR=/var/opt/scalix/xx/s.... - the right path on your installation
OMAUTOSTART=TRUE

Then, run:

"chown scalix:scalix /etc/opt/scalix/instance.cfg"

and restart the scalix server.

Hi Jsf72672,

What version of Scalix server are you running? Under versions 11.x.x /var/opt/scalix contains only one subdirectory with a name consisting of the first and last letter of your hostname.
