Unknown Users

Is there a recommended policy/implementation for bouncing emails to unknown users. I have found that the spam lists send email to random users at my domain, I bounce this as an unknown user, generally the sending domain/user is bogus so I get back a non-delivery receipt. These are taking up a good 10 to 15% of my outgoing email.

How do others handle this problem ?

Please update to 9.4 ... We put in a fix specifically for that.

Cheers,

Sascha.

Could you please elaborate on what the fix is? (Deciding whether to upgrade....)

Thanks

I reckon it would be a great idea to list the fixes and new features in each release.

Agreed. We are always thankful for comments on how we can help customers understand if an upgrade is warranted or not. I guarantee you, every upgrade from Scalix *is* worth it ;-)

Please check the changelog of any Scalix server by issueing

rpm -q --changelog scalix-server-package, e.g.

rpm -q --changelog scalix-server-9.2.1.27-1.suse93 |more

Cheers,

Sascha.
