Hi,

S=Surname/OU1=MAILNODE/ENTRY-TYPE=1/INTERNET-ADDR=Office-@company.com/JOB-TITLE=Office/EMPL-ORG=Electronic/EMPL-MAILSTOP=Wallstreet 16, New York, US/PHONE-1=112345/PHONE-2=1123456/FAX=12345 99/S-TX=Surname/CN=Surname

Thanks for help!!!

Hi,

omaddent -f filename

will import an entry like the one below.

The entry in question has be the content of this file, each entry on its own line.

Cheers,

Sascha.

Yes, adding the users as actual Scalix users works a little different, but not much.

Have a look at the man page of omaddu. It states:

To add many users, including John Smith with aliases of John R. Smith
and Jon Smith and with a default authentication-id:

omaddu --bulk ny,hq,mis - <<EOF
...
@ John Smith
John R. Smith
Jon Smith
...
EOF
Of course, you could redirect the input from a file containing just names and AuthIDs - so I think that is what you are looking for, right?

Cheers,

Sascha.

I've been looking all over for this.

We are building another mail server for one remote location and since we already have one already built with hundreds of internet mail listed on the system directory, we were looking for a way to simply import what we have already created.

I did a man on omaddent and would just like to know if the below is correct to add internet mail users with such names and email addresses.

omaddent -f <filename>

entries on file:

"g=william/s=smith/INTERNET-ADDR=email@domain.com"
"g=ann/s=black/INTERNET-ADDR=email@otherdomain.com"

Thanks.
