Can anyone give me a quick explanation on the "SSL errors" and "message repeated" found in my maillog? There are so many that I am begining to wornder about them. See the log below.

It looks like you have an erroneous email causing trouble. The SSL issue should be fixable since with a bit of looking around the common solution seemed to be editing the site.config.m4 file.

The correct syntax should be something like:

Code: Select all

APPENDDEF(`confENVDEF', `-D_FFR_DEAL_WITH_ERROR_SSL')

After that it looks like you have to rebuild sendmail against the m4 file. This isn't the simplest solution, but it was all I could find.

The 'message repeated' will just mean that the message you're getting is being repeated that many times.
