Hello,

yesterday I try to import a pst-file with 85 folders and around 17.000 mails in one Mailbox. It works.

Now if I want to open a folder in the webinterface it needs hours to show me the mails. (Only the first time) After scalix load or index the mails, it works quick. But I want that scalix do this automaticly. So how can i manual start this?

The in.imap41d need the most cpu resources.... .

Other question is, if I want a lot of imports at the same time, is it possible to stop the indexing and start it after the import otherwise the server needs to much time for all this.

Thank you,
Sven

Hi!

To disable indexing:
1 On the command line, run the following command.
ommodu -o <user_name> --index none
2 If you later re-enable indexing, you must run the sxmkindex command again to
index past messages.
sxmkindex <user-name>

Thanks,
Subir

Hello,

at first thanks for your answers :)

I'll try :
ommodu -o <user_name> --index none

but indexing-deamon is anyway running during the import and need a lot of I/O performance and CPU-Time :(

After that I try:
sxmkindex <user-name>
and the system message was someting like:
SIS URL not found for this user ?!?!?!

Do you have any more ideas?

Thanks,
Sven

You can force the SIS recreation for a user from within SAC, and it will also show the location for you. And I'll note that it can be disabled. Maybe just check in SAC, on the advanced tab for the user, and make sure everything looks correct.
