Holiday

Hi forum,
I´m completely new to Scalix, but managed the installation and setup on Fedora just fine. Doing my first steps, I found almost everything I was looking for.
There´s just one question, I didn´t find any docu on: Is there a way to import public holidays into every Scalix user´s calendar?

Hi Chris,
There is no official way to do this. However I have achieved what you want to do by creating a dummy user and then using an Outlook profile for that user set up the public holidays (Tools/Options/Calendar Options/Add Holidays). Then archiving the Calendar of that user and importing those Calendar items into the Calendars of other users:

<Create Outlook profile and set up holidays for Holidays user>
sxmboxlist -u Holidays # to get the Calendar reference
sxmboxexp -u Holidays -a Holidays.data -f <Calendar-ref> # Archive public holidays
omdelu -n Holidays
sxmboximp -a Holidays.data -u <User-1>
sxmboximp -a Holidays.data -u <User-2>

.Make sure that the "Holidays" user is a newly created one - otherwise there may be other Calendar events present.
