Hello board,

I upgraded fom 11... to 11.0.1.22 today with no errors but tomcat didn't work afterwards. I got out, that after the upgrade all the directories in

# ll /var/opt/scalix/ww/tomcat/webapps
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 1,0K 10. Feb 23:20 api
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 1,0K 10. Feb 23:20 caa
drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 1,0K 10. Feb 23:20 m
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 1,0K 10. Feb 23:20 res
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 1,0K 10. Feb 09:29 ROOT
drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 1,0K 10. Feb 23:20 sac
drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 1,0K 10. Feb 23:20 sis
drwxr-xr-x 9 root root 1,0K 10. Feb 23:19 webmail

were gone. I have to admit, that I had to change the server hostname before upgrading - I think, that's the reason.

Now I just restored the old (11...-)files from my backup to use them with the new version, and things are ok again so far. Only question:

Were there any changes between the files from the old version to the new one - or is it ok, just to leave it like this? If I have to replace the old files, can you give me a hint, where to find them?

Kind regards, jr

Same happened to us. We changed the hostname after update to 11.0.1. With the newest update (11.0.2) /webmail and /sac are unavailable. The directory /var/opt/scalix/sx/tomcat/webapps only contains a ROOT sub-directory.

Is it possible to work with the old files or how can we extract the tomcat files?

In this case I would recommend you uninstall the web-based components (SAC, RES, SWA, Scalix Mobile, Scalix API) and re-install them. The best will probably be to uninstall everything except for Scalix Server and then do a re-install of the missing components.

It is possible to get tomcat to deploy the WAR files again, but I wouldn't recommend that route.

Strange though, I did a few 11.0.1 -> 11.0.2 updates and I haven't seen this issue before.

It seems to work. I uninstalled everything except the server component and reinstalled it. Thank you again for your help!
