Still running version 10.0.5 on Xen/RHEL4 went to 11 to early and had a major crash. Looking at 11.2 now and looking good. But anyway.... I need to incorporate some internal rules in the server and some other things and was curious on how.

1. We need to keep users in group A from emailing eachother but receive emails from the rest of the office.

2. We also need to keep those users in group A from sending or receiving email to/from the outside world.

3. A majortiy of my users are using CE thin clients that have a 1024X768 screen resolution, The mobile access is to limited, and the full ajax will not run. I was thinking about using horde to serve up the email on those devices. What are your guy's opinions?

Thanks , Chuck

you first need to build those groups. However groups in the sense of distribution lists won't work. you'll either need to create separate mailnodes (can be done in SAC) and move the users on those mailnodes. or you can use ommodu to set a service level on particular users.

you then create a service router rules file (the syntax, etc. is described in the admin guide) and filter/reject messages based on mailnode allocation or service level of the users.

hope this helps,
Florian.

As a really quick fix for the webmail question, Scalix Mobile was designed specifically to be a lightweight client. It is installed with 11, so you should already be ready to go with it.

Give it a try. It's wicked on the mobile phones, because it's really light, and designed specifically for them, so the display is perfect.
