How to access public folder via REST API ?

Hi,

I created a public folder named "MyPublicCalendar", this public folder (obviously) contains calendar type elements. Is it possible to query appointments in this public calendar using SCALIX's REST API? For "normal" users this is done by sending a GET request to the following URL:

Code: Select all

 http(s)://host:port/api/Max.Mustermann@Company.com/mailbox

What is the syntax for public folders?

Something you might want to try - I can attach to a public calendar in Mozilla Sunbird using ical this way:

Code: Select all

http://mail.company.com:port/api/Max.Mustermann@company.com/ical/Public%20Folders/MyPublicCalendar

The "ical" request is just a "mailbox" request with some of the "?" modifiers from the API guide - but at the moment the exact list escapes me.

Note that the user must be created as a premium user for it to be able to access public folders.

Thanks for your help, I'll try this as soon as possible. Never heard of a service "ical" though. The API documentation under

Code: Select all

 http(s)://host:port/api/docs

(Scalix 11) only mentions and details 4 possible services:
- mailbox
- search
- delivery
- freebusy

Is a documentation available that is more detailed or more up-to-date?

The documentation is there. The ical service is an alias for the mailbox service with the o=ical option.

Documented in the online doc.
