Restore doesn't work

Hello,

while testing Scalix version 11.0.1, we encountered a problem with the restore functionnality. We backuped a mailbox of a user with sxmboxexp -u "User Name" -a filename.mbox, and when we try to restore it with the command sxmboximp -u "User Name" -a filename.mbox, scalix returns the error message "sxmboximp : [SYS 2] Error 2 on unknown file.

When looking the fatal log file, it shows "

SERIOUS ERROR Administration(omrestorepm ) Thu Mar 1 10:24:11 2007
[SYS 2] No such file or directory
Pid of logging process: 11627
Current errno value: 2

"

When running sxmboxlist -a filename.mbox --listlevel msg, it lists the messages exported just fine.

The same error occurs, when using omcpoutu for export or omcpinu for restore.

Hi!

This is usually caused when message on the error queue is likely an orphaned
message. To resolve the data inconsistencies, I would request you to perform
the steps below to try and reslove the issue:

omoff -d0 omscan 
omscan -Z     
omon omscan     

You need to watch the status of the omscan process using the command:

Code: Select all

omscan -t

Wait until you get a message that says "Current server cycle not started;
service reset or delayed".

Now try to fix the mail store related issues in active mode using the
below given command:

omscan -A -f -Q ERROR
