IMAP missing new messages but Outlook (MAPI) is fine

Hi All,

One IMAP user (me actually) is not seeing new messages in the inbox. They appear okay in Outlook, but just don't turn up in my IMAP client (Mail.app) or SWA.

Other IMAP users on the server are still working fine though.

I've stopped and started the IMAP daemon, and was going to try to clear the imap-cache (as suggested for different problems in this forum) .. but I don't seem to have the imap-cache folder in my 'g' directory.

Scalix Version: 10.0.2.2

Any suggestions?

Version 10 didn't have imap caching the same as v11. That's why the folder isn't there.

As for the fix, you've got me a bit stumped. With 11, deleting the cache will fix it, but with 10, the only time I remember seeing webmail issues was when there was a spam message that SWA couldn't correctly display. As soon as that message was deleted from within Outlook, the problem went away.

The problem seems to have magically gone away after about 24 hours. Thanks for the pointers though!

I'd assume it was a message that you had deleted from within Outlook. You could verify that by checking deleted items from SWA. (Assuming you haven't cleared it out). It will likely not display anything now, since the corrupted message is in there.
