Scalix and sendmail configuration issue

I'm evaluating Scalix for a customer and has installed Scalix V11 on Fedora Core 5 with all the default settings.
Everything is working fine interms of incoming mails to Scalix users and outgoing mails from Scalix users to the internet.
But a major problem is happening that sendmail is accepting mails for non-existance users for customer domain. i.e. customer has two users ben@domain.cc and support@domain.cc.
Both users can send and recieve mails to each other as well as other users on the internet. But if I check the sendmail queue, I see a lot of messages in the queue that are for abc@domain.cc, pqr@domain.cc etc.
I'm at a loss as to why sendmail is accepting mails instead of rejecting for the users that doesn't exist on Scalix.
Quick help would be appreciated.
Regards,
