howto or feature request: disallow/reject executable files

Is ther a way to disallow/reject executable files (.exe,.bat,.com, etc etc) at the server level

What version are you using? In the Scalix 10 admin guide, there is a section about the Outlook Security Model. I can't find this section in the Scalix 11 admin guide, but maybe it helps.

Information about the Outlook Security Model are now in the Client Deployment Guide (use the latest version 11.0.1).
Anyway. As the name says it will not block these attachments for other clients.

This would be a task for a content-filter or virus-scanner.
