Sorry if this has been addressed in a previous post but I've searched and didn't find anything.

How can you change the default attachment size?

10MB is pretty slim pickings.

thank you

kanderson

That limit is only for the webclient, and remember you'll need to upload the attachment before the message can be sent. I think it's generally a pretty reasonable number, however...

You want the change the parameter:
swa.system.maxAttachmentUploadKilobytes=102400

in the file:
/var/opt/scalix/??/webmail/swa.properties

Hi!

Just to add, restart scalix-tomcat service after the change has been saved in
swa.properties.

Thanks,

Hi!

Could you please reply with the result of the command:

Code: Select all

rpm -qa | grep scalix

I would suggest you to check if there is any existant scalix-tomcat service running using:

Code: Select all

ps ax | grep tomcat

Kill all the existing processes running, and start a fresh tomcat service.

Thanks,
Subir
