Mail is checked Read Automatically

Dear All,
After upgrade from 11.0.0 to 11.0.1 i noticed that when a new message arrives in Outlook2003/2000 - it becomes marked as Read after 2 sec. WITHOUT to being read ! I mean - if you point Outlook to another folder - you can see that 1 new message arrives in Inbox and after 2 seconds - it is automatically marked as read !

THere is no SMart Cache mode !

There are no another clients ( somewhere ) connected to this account by any means ( MAPI,IMAP,POP3, WEB ...) !

Someone else to see this behaviour ?
This is not related to Connector !!!
This happens not with all users, but i cannot figure out any difference...!

I tried to delete the affected user and recreate it again - did not help !

Hi!

Did you upgrade the Outlook Connector as well? Could you please restart the "Remote
Client Interface
" service using the commands below:

Code: Select all

omoff -wd 0 rci
omon rci

Hi Subir,

I restarted the server at all a couple of times, but it didnt help.
Here is what help:
Solution:

Deleting and then recreating the user in scalix didnt help.

But here is what make the problem go away:

1. Crate another one user in Scalix with totally different name
2. Import , previously exported mailbox with sxmboximp
3. Delete the mail-addresses from the Primary account and change the First/Last/Display Name
4. Change the First/Last/Display Name to the new account to match the needed ones.
5. Set the desired e-mail addresses in the new account
6. Login with the new account

Thats it! No more problems.

I Found what the main problem was !
It is so stupid ...

a couple of days before , i installed SugarCRM in Lab environment and configured one of the accounts with e-mail access to my scalix profile , using IMAP.

Today, i saw that , by not known reason, when SugarCRM reads an e-mail via IMAP - it marked it as READ.

This is SugarCRM issue, because the same is true if it reads email from Exchange.
