See second post, I think I found the source of error....

We have 4 premium users and 195 communitiy users and everything has been running fine on 11GA until I changed one premium user to standard and back and also I removed the check from "admin" Then we started having this problem. They can still use Outlook connect. I have of course been trying to fix this myself and just created a new user called "Ted Tester" and made him a premium user, Ted can't login to webmail either, he gets a password wrong error at the client, here is the server error:

Code: Select all

WARNING IMAP Server Da(IMAP Server Pr) 01.31.07 19:03:52 [OM.UI 574] Insufficient access capabilities to perform this command User Name: Ted Tester / xxxxxxxxxxxx, tv/CN=Ted Tester <- ual_GetBBHierarchy -> ual_StartSyncFile -> ual_GetSyncTempFile -> im_GetNewTempItemNum <- im_GetNewTempItemNum <- ual_GetSyncTempFile <- ual_StartSyncFile -> ual_GetDRefFlagsTime <- ual_GetDRefFlagsTime -> ual_GetSingleFolderSync -> ual_MapSyncFolderRef <- ual_MapSyncFolderRef -> ual_ListFolderSyncRecs -> ual_PrepList <- /build/scalix-MAIN/src/lib/ual/ual_prpitm.c:5770[101,574] WARNING IMAP Server Da(IMAP Server Pr) 01.31.07 19:03:52 [SYS 2] No such file or directory User Name: Ted Tester / xxxxxxxxxxxx, tv/CN=Ted Tester <- ct_GetSyncDirName <- ct_CheckSyncFName <- ual_GetSingleFolderSync -> ual_StopSyncFile <- ual_StopSyncFile -> ual_SyncCompressFiles <- ual_SyncCompressFiles -> ual_SaveBBHierarchy -> ct_CheckSyncFName -> ct_GetSyncDirName <- ct_GetSyncDirName <- ct_CheckSyncFName -> ual_GetUserCharSet <- /build/scalix-MAIN/src/lib/ombase/os/os_open.c:120[1,2]

If I make Ted a standard user, he can log in fine. I am using Community Edition is this a licence thing???

Please Help

I was messing around with the Public Folder yesterday and I right clicked on it in Outlook and made it "non-visible" as well as changing other properties.... Now it does not display in Outlook and since only premium users see the Public Folder, this may be related.... How do I get the folder back or change its permisions when it wont even display????

You'll need to read the man pages for the following commands.

First thing to know is that Scalix calls "Public Folders" "Bulletin Boards".

omlistbbs - this will help you find a name or ref # to identify the Public Folder.
(omlistbbs -d0 -b) Is likely the command you'll want.

Then "omshowacl" will show you the current permissions.

Lastly, "ommodacln" will allow you to modify the permissions on the Bulletin Board.

From here, you can set the public folders as "owned" by whoever you'd like.
