Spellcheck problem

I'm having a problem with our spellcheck in SWA.

I had a user send out this email, and I was rather confused as to why this is allowed past the spellcheck.

We are experiencing technical difficultys..... The video interference you see is a technical problem and NOT a issue with your telivision...

I pasted it into MS Word, and it finds the words and misspelled instantly. I paste it into a new message using SWA and run spellcheck and it tells me everything is good. I then add the word "Thsi" to that email and tell it to spellcheck, and it finds it wrong and asks me if I meant "This" instead.

So, the spellcheck is working (since it found the word "Thsi" as wrong) but it's not because it doesn't find the other words wrong as well.

Anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?

This is currently with Scalix 10, as I have been having upgrade issues...
Thanks for any help!

Interesting, indeed. Maybe the dictionary has been written by somebody from ...... :-) [well, but then, I'm German...]

No - seriously - we've identified some issues with the stemming and breakdown algorithm of the spellchecker with Scalix 10 and the quality has been improved in 11. So I'd suggest that you wait until you can try this on Scalix 11 and if it still doesn't work as you expect, please do open a bug in bugzilla.scalix.com.

Cheers,
Florian.

Sounds great, thanks for the info.

I'll wait until the upgrade is successful and try it again.

Thanks!
