Digitally Signed Messge - comes as Smime.p7m atrachment !!!?

When i send a digitally signed message from Outlook the other part sees a messages as empty body with 1 attachment: smime.p7m ! Why ??!
The same is true for external recipients and for internal , which use Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird to recieve mail !
