public folder permissions broken after upgrade

Postby FNB » Mon Jan 22, 2007 4:46 pm

I am the owner/creator of a public folder containing task items. The administrator's role is set to 'Owner' in Outlook, but I cannot modify tasks other people have created after our upgrade to v11.

I get the error:

Your changes could not be saved because you don't have permisions to modify some or all of the items in this folder.

I don't know if this is the same, but I converted a personal contacts list to a public contact list and now the user who is marked as owner see's the contacts as read only even tho they are owner. This to is on 11.

Sorry for bugging you, but I also have problems with the public folders after a upgrade to 11.0.1, so I want to apply the patch but how do I use:

Code: Select all

Bug fixed:
http://svn.uk.scalix.com/omdev/trunk r10589

I have looked at the forum and wiki and have searched with google, but I didn't find it...
Can someone give a easy howto to fix this problem?
Or give a easy howto to use this type of fixes?

This refers to the internal Scalix version control system. You will have to wait for the next release by Scalix first. Not sure if this will make the March release or the one after that, though, as it was fixed quite close to the release date.
