Hi,
is it possible to set the maximum message or attachment size of outgoing message for sending via SMTP?

This question is for me, because its easy :wink:

1. go to the ~/rules directory

cd `/opt/scalix/bin/omrealpath "~/rules"`

2. create a ruleset file, filename does not matter (nearly) with the contents:

SIZE=20000 ACTION=REJECT NDN-INFO="Message too large"

size is in kB,

3. apply this ruleset to the internet routes

ommodrt -m internet -d filename
ommodrt -m internet,tnef -d filename

4. restart the service router

Code: Select all

omoff -w -d0 sr && omon sr

You can find the full story in the Administration Guide, Chapter "Setting Message Delivery Rules on the Router".
Theres also an article about this in the knowledgebase (and viewtopic.php?t=125 ), but with a more complex question.
