I wondering if a nightly omldapsync using the "Force a complete (re)load of the directory" would help keep things clean?

I sometimes find errors in my cronjob 'omldapsync -u 13'

Is it dangerous to do this complete re-load ???

Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

Cheers

Jon
NOTE: I've turned off IM_DELETE_MAILBOX in the sync script

hmm

You can do a:

omldapsync -u SYNCNAME -L

it will complain about existing users, but will not touch the existing accounts and will add as needed. When this is complete you will need to do a:

omldapsync -u SYNCNAME -A

then all the errors (from the existing account from before) will be accepted and then a normal:

omldapsync -u SYNCNAME

should work just from that point forward.
