Backup on Scalic 11GA

Postby ppitschmann » Tue Jan 09, 2007 1:41 pm

hi,

can somebody say which folders I have to backup, so that I can make a restore all I need (mails, users) in case of a crash. So which folders I need to restore mails and users on another machine? And how to do this? Install Scalix and replace the folders or create the folders and install scalix after.

Thank you very much for some answers

so long...

Hey!

I've already asked something like that. Maybe this topic helps.

There are also backup scripts availble that create user backups.
You can edit those scripts and put it in your crontab.

I've tested to install a new Scalix server and place a copy of the old "var/opst/scalix" directory to the new server. It workt for me.
