Hello all,
I am testing scalix, my current mail setup is qmail with vpopmail and spam and virus scanning. I want to allow say 10 users to use scalix with outlook but I have 500+ users that don't need to be using scalix at this point. I have setup a scalix.domain.com and it works but the users need to recieve email to user@domain.com forwarded from my qmail setup to scalix server. Has anyone done this and if so how?

You could setup your Scalix server with two domains, your primary and create a valid second domain with the MX record pointing to you Scalix server. Then you can forward your qmail accounts to Scalix server using the new domain.

When you setup a user account on the Scalix server you will need to create email aliases for both domains. Insure that the qmail address is at the top of the alias list, for this will insure that all outbound email and replies will have your primary domain as the return to address.

I did the same when I was migrating from my Exchange 5.5 server over to Scalix.
Once migrated, I just needed to point my Spam appliance to the Scalix server.

Good Luck
