We currently run CE, but would definitely upgrade if wireless push mail or imap idle would function without the need for "band-aid" solutions such as Notify on Windows (looking for an all Linux solution).
What is the status on wireless push e-mail, except for the Windows based Notify solution?
Im confused by your comment:

imap idle works flawlessly without Notify. In particular, on a treo 650 using Chatter Email (
www.chatteremail.com). Also i have heard good reports from Win Mobile devices using FlexMail. Both of these email apps fully support IMAP Idle. IMAP Idle on the Scalix side does NOT require any special software. The email client on the handheld simply connects direclty to the Scalix server over port 143 (or secure 993).
