Issue with shutting down scalix / changing info in SAC

Hello. I am running Scalix v10 community edition. It's running on Debian, with 1 gb of ram, 3.0 ghz processor, 200 GB hdd. I have recently run into two issues with the system.

The first, and most pressing, is when shutting down Scalix. I run the omshut utility, the system starts with "Disabling 14 subsystems", but then doesn't proceed beyond that point. I have left it on that step for 30 minutes, and it does not continue. I have also tried to shut down the box, and it that also hangs with no result. I eventually have to power cycle for anything to happen.

The second problem is in the SAC. When i attempt to modify one specific group (named mailadmins, if that matters), it won't let me save any changes. I get the message "The group information could not be saved". I also cannot delete the group, or make another group with the same address. Delivery to any of the addresses aliased in the group works correctly, however.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

No comments on this? No one has run into this issue? I need to figure out this issue so I can upgrade to version 11.

Lets fix the shutdown issue first.

start by running omscan -Aavfx first.

If you get any errors, run it again. It might take a couple of times, but you want it to come back clean.

Then try that shutdown again, with a timeout switch. omshut -t 5

That'll wait 5 seconds for things to finish, and then it'll just kill them.
