Scalix 10.x and LDAP Authentication - how to.

Hello,

We are using Scalix 10 for almost a year now. We authenticate most of the users against Netscape LDAP 4.12 (don't laugh) here is the issue. If by mistake while creating a new user we enter a password then Scalix will authenticate against the local database (build in) and LDAP the problem is that after we enter a password for that user locally, we cannot remove it, the only work arround is recreating the user and be careful NOT TO ENTER A PASSWORD. There must be a solution for this.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Michael,

I would suggest you to visit the following page to know about "Using OpenLDAP for password management":
