Active Directory User integration

I am using Scalix 10.0.1.

I have setup active directory integration per the administration guide. I can import my users into scalix and login via SWA but I have a couple of issues:

1) AD users don't need a password to login. I will probably setup Kerberos for SSO but haven't yet. Should my users be able to login without a password? Can I get Scalix to authenticate against AD without Kerberos?

2) Users login is user@MYDOMAIN.CORP. Can I make the Authentiation ID have a lower-case domain or none at all? I know I'm splitting hairs but having to hold shift or press caps in annoying and I'm trying to make a case for switching to Scalix from our current mail server. I would like to keep negative feedback to a minimum.

Thanks,

MG

No response to this yet.

Here's a comment about the 2nd question above: Has anyone out there successfully modified the login screen so that it'll automatically make the domain part of the username all caps no matter how it's entered?

I have to believe there's a way to do that.

If any Scalix developers are listening, how about using cookies and a "Remember Me" checkbox to autopopulate the username field if the user desires that.
