forwarding mail to a smart host

Guys,
Pretty new to scalix, but I have managed to install it and it seems to be working well.
the next step that I need to master is to get scalix to send all outgoing email to our network mail relay that sits in the DMZ. My question is do I need to do any thing in Scalix to acheive this or is this a pure function of the underlying sendmail MTA?

This is purely a sendmail issue, just set the smart host in sendmail and it should work. I believe the administration guide talks about this....but at what page, I don't remember :?
