Pop3 error

Sometimes, I get this error in the pop3 service:

SERIOUS ERROR POP3 interface(POP3 Process ) Tue Nov 28 14:29:25 2006
[OM.POP3 1047] Non zero mailbox data found in a mailbox structure due to be removed.
UserNum=107, Table_OpenSessions=0, UserFolderHandle=3001
IntrayHandle=0, Mailbox_OpenSession=-1
Pid of logging process: 3653

I can usually restart the pop3 service and clear it, but it can come back. It affects only one user, and prevents his logging through pop3. This time though it's coming back again and again every hour or so, any help on clearing this out?

Same error occurring at our customer's site

Was there ever a solution found for this or any comment from Scalix?

Is this just spam that is causing this error and therefore not a concern, if so then why is it marked as a SERIOUS ERROR?

It identifies the user being affected so I guess this would tell you if it is more than one user affected if the UserNum= kept changing. Would an omscan on this user server any useful purpose?

This is reported as a bug 14352 OM 3420 1047

The above is the bug report and this is being fixed in what I assume is the first patch for V11. But don't quote me on that.
