changing sendername

does anybody know how to change the sendername for e-mails?

I want a name like : Firstname Name | Company [firstname.name@domain.com] and the | is not supported in the admin-section.

I don't know it the pipe would be supported from the command line or not, but the command you would use to set it up would be ommodiam. There is a man page for it which should help you through getting it going.
