Prevent bounce mails

Hi ,

When a scalix receives mail for unknown users, it bounces. This is correct, but what i'm seeing more and more lately at mailservers of clients , is that they get bombarded with huge spamruns. The mailservers grind to a halt and finally get to process the queue of 50.000 spam bounces.
This results sometimes in the mailserver getting blocked from the isp or getting RBL-ed.

So is there a intelligent sollution for this like just /dev/null unknown reciepient s ?

The mail sanatising box i use (ipcop), has an option called : Reject email instead of discarding (uses SMTP 550 instead of SMTP 250 error code).
I suspect this needs to be supported by the scalix too ? I'm not up to speed on how this works, so forgive my n00bnes.. ;-)

Cheers
