Hi,
Is there a way to have a message tracking?
For Eg: if the message was delivered, what time, etc.
I know I can check maillog and see if the message was delivered or not, but it's a bit confusing for the 'big bosses'.. is there a nice way to get a report?

Thanks,
Eyal.

You mention maillog - are you using sendmail - do you want to report on incoming and outgoing emails only (ie no internal traffic)?

AWstats (http://awstats.sourceforge.net/awstats.mail.html) or there is SMA (http://www.klake.org/sma/).

Have a look at the "omconfaud" command. There is a man page for this.

omconfaud local 13

would cause all local deliveries to a local Scalix inbox to be audited in the
~/logs/audit
file. Hopefully, this is what you are after. You can also audit various other events like messages passing through various other services, logins, logoffs etc.

Gren.
