Hi Libido,

I assume that fichtner.de is the recipient and not the sender?

If so, can you post the full contents of the returned mail?

The returning MTA should include a reason why it didn't like the mail your user sent.

Hello Chris

Thanks 4 quickly responding.

I assume that fichtner.de is the recipient and not the sender?

Yes, it is.

If so, can you post the full contents of the returned mail?

That's all. "details.txt" has only 3 rows for each email address (xxx@fichtner.de).

Well the mail server on the fichtner end is not very informative.

The only way, in my opinion, to get to the bottom of things is to contact them and have them check their logs. Hopefully they can find a detailed reason for the block.

Otherwise, there's no real chance to diagnose.

I poked around a bit, and they are using a Checkpoint ESMTP relay (probably as part of a FW-1 on the perimeter) which seems to let the mail through - the NDR seems to come from an internal mail server. So the internal server would be the place for them to start checking.

Chris
